Quit my construction job, barely qualified for a loan, took the 9 week course(ATS @ Brentwood NH)November 2008 graduate. Can't get a job as an equipment operator let alone in construction(15 years experience)Have tried all over the country with applications, nothing. Now I might lose my house. This training did not give me the "edge" as claimed.I check job leads all the time.classifieds, employment office, online job search etc.I should have kept my constrution job. |

Hi there. My name is Alexandra Marks. I'm a reporter with The Christian Science Monitor. I'm working on a story about the economy and the election. I'm trying to find folks who are affected by this economic downturn. If you're still looking for work, and think the problems in the economy are the cause, and want to talk about what impact it will have on who you support for president, I'd love to chat. My email is alex@csmonitor.com. Thanks so much. Best and hope you did find a job! Alex. |
