Hi everyone, I have another question for a copy-editor resume I wonder if you can help me with. I've decided not to use a colon after headings like "Education" and "Experience (centering those headings), but what should I do in terms of periods after bullet points? Does it need to be consistent all the way through, one way or the other? It seems to make sense and look good to have a period for complete sentences, but I wonder whether it looks right when what follows the bullet point is just a compound noun or something similar. Thank you, David |

I have a BS in Communications so I'm speaking from a little experience. I would suggest you just be consistent. If you put a period, put a period on all of them. If some bullets aren't complete sentences, it's okay to omit periods on all. Again, consistency is what sticks out to us grammar geeks! |

Thank you very much, Regan. That helps a lot. |
