I got my M.S. in Counseling 4 years ago and so far the only jobs I've been able to get were in-home counseling which paid very little (around $27-34K). I've been thinking to back to school and either get a MSW, or PhD in Mental Health Counseling, or in Clinical Psychology. I'd rather go the MSW route, but something tells me it would be a waste of time. Any thoughts?>>Thanks!

I need advice. I graduate in Feb. 2013 with an MS General Psychology. My hope was to teach at vocational schools. Now I am considering finding an online MSW program. My background includes 10 years in elementary education. I am volunteering at a crisis pregnancy center and really like it. I don't think I'm going to find much with an MS in Gen. Psych. Any ideas?
