My dentist recently told me that we can no longer take the impression for bleaching trays, we can pick out the tray, mix and load the alginate, but the DOCTOR HAS TO PLACE IT IN THE PATIENTS MOUTH, after that we can hold the impression, and take it out of their mouth and get it ready to be fabed. Has anyone one else come across this?
Thanks,
Amy

I have never heard of that, but the best way to check is with the state regulations. In NY you have to be licensed to take an impression. Check with the state.

He just probably prefers it that way so you dont waste materials. Ha I'd prefer it that way, easier on me!
