Has anyone taken the DA coarse through Penn Foster on line? I'm going to sign up next week I'm not scared of the book work. But there payment plan works out well with my budget right now. This is a new career move for me, being 43 I know I can't work in a factory for the rest of my life my legs & feet won't take it, and dental has always sparked my interest. So I'm diving in :) but I'm wondering if anyone has taken this coarse through Penn Foster?

I am also interestd in hearing people's opinion about this school I work 20-30 hours a week and can't really go back to school because it would take most of my time, but I looked into dental assiting through Penn Foster's Online Program. The only thing I'm worried about is that you won't get any hands on experience or go to any practicums so I'm thinking that it will probably be hard to find a job afterwards because most places like to know that you can work in the field, working in the field is most important part, I think they could care less about the book work. Also does anyone know if the school is accredited? And does it pass in OregoN?
