There seems to to be an attitude that
There is an endless amount of money
patients are willing to pay for treatment. Ultimately he PATIENT
is boss. In this economy peoples priorities are different. If the banks are broke how do you expect 30$ an
hour as a Hygenist while a private dentist gets much more? With your
lack of ethics and freed it seems
that doing something illegal to get
money would be appropriate in your
mind.
In order to pay greedy dentists many
patients are put in the position where
they have consider turning to crime to
get money to pay for dental costs.
Provincial Health Care and insurance
covers very little because of jacked up prices. I hope you people all go
bankrupt and get foreclosed. Iam
getting my passport and heading to
Bangkok.

I don't know where you are in the U.S., but if you are unable to receive affordable dental treatment in a private practice, try contacting a Dental School in the area for ie-fillings,etc. and/or a Dental Hygiene School for a prophy (cleaning, x-rays, flouride tx, etc.). At these schools you will find it is very affordable, but you have to realize you may spend alot more time in the chair due to the student being graded on the treatment given. Good luck!

Your points are well taken. Voice your concerns to your dentist. Write your senator and state representative. Also, don't go to a dentist that is "a fee for service practice". They charge higher prices. Ask for payment plans or ask if they offer Care Credit, a no or low interest plan, and you have the right to also ask what is reasonable and customary for the fee of the service. Call other offices and compare prices to get an idea how high the fee really is. The dental school is an excellent suggestion too. I have gone there myself. Good luck.
