I've been doing several searches on Dental Hygiene jobs around the US. Most of them require a license for THAT state. If you are licensed in a different state, how would you go about getting license in the state you are attempting to apply for? Thank you all! :) |

You would have to contact that particular states licensing agency to see what their requirements are. Some have reciprocity, some may require you to take a partial exam on law and ethics or radiology, some may require you to pass a clinical portion. Good luck! |

Hi, If you are young and can retrain....I would look into it ...D.H. is a shot in the dark as far as obtaining employment .....this is the reality of our field....and more keep going into our field.....silly choice, yes, not a good choice for employment let alone longevity. |
