I agree Waterbug ,Jojo has some issues, and to attack and swear at others on here, targeting me inparticular shows the level of her character. Attack, swear at, great qualities of someone thinking of going into our field. If you don't like what I say BYPASS my information and yrs. in the field...it doesn't help YOU to decide your future. Polite and reasonable...please try it Jojo, instead of the bleeped out sweares.
Thanks Waterbug for your input to this individual...or is she/he here to just instigate? A: yes. Offer what research you've actually done to help others if you think it will HELP others in their decision.

I currently do not know where I will reside but I would highly appreciate it if I could get honest opinions about school that are worth attending.

If that is the career you want then why not look for a school that has a BA degree in this field? I just wouldn't want to waste time. Some schools even take 60 hours of basic college courses so you can be closer to getting your degree once you enter their college. Just thought I would share what I found when I researched a career in this feild. Best of luck to you!

I have applied to UT dental hygiene program for bach. and will find out if I am accepted or not in December. They go by three differnent GPA's and I'm worried that my cummulative gpa might break my chnces. I have 3.28 in pre-req, 3.00 in science, and 2.46 in cumm. I am still taking classes so all three will rise but I'm still not sure if it will be enough. Does anyone know how many people apply? Also has anyone been accepted that can tell me what their grades were like? Thanks :D

Just wondering, what were your gpa's like? And what kind of questions did they ask you?
