I was wondering if anyone knew about working overseas say in Australia. Do I only need a working VISA or is there more to it?

Check this out - I believe there are a few hoops to jump through and have heard that it is easier to get a job in New Zealand and once accredited there transfer to Australia - but that is just hearsay.
