Hi, Contact to Board of Registration in Dentistry in the area you want to practice....they will have the most info. GL

Ontario has no Board of Registration in Dentistry (we are a self-regulated profession in Ontario)- you need to contact the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO.Org) and probably also the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia to see if your schooling qualifies you for their clinical exam - bearing in mind that BC will also be testing for delivery of local anaesthesia which is not a permitted act in Ontario and which as an Ontario grad you will not have been trained in.

Assuming you are able to take and pass the clinical exam in BC you would then need to become registered in BC (and pay your dues etc.) prior to applying for registration in Ontario (and paying dues again probably) all this would take time - how about working as a dental assistant or receptionist prior to taking your Ontario clinical exam and gaining experience in other aspects of dentistry? This would gain you valuable experience that can be utilized later during your career as an RDH - assuming that you ever find a hygiene job here in Ontario as the field is so flooded.
