I have three years exp. in an ortho office and i do all front office/admin duties and I go help the back office clean chairs and seat pt.s when needed and sterilize instruments. I am the "gopher" of the office. What is a fair wage for this?

Ask "Agencies" what they are paying the help they send for fill-ins (if they even do this in the Receptionist field). If you know any friends, or are friendly with others in Dental Offices, ask them a ballpark $$$, probably around $12-18.00 an hour, of course it depends on the State and the duties you have to perform. If you are doing "alot" go for the higher wage, no harm in asking, but make sure at your interview you discuss "why you feel , and what you can bring to their practice to get the pay you want!"
