I have 22+ years in LTC and which includes 5 years as a Director of Nursing and 3 years as clinical nurse consultant.

I recently relocated back to Minnesota from AZ, and took a position again as a DON. I feel like I was tricked into a nightmare. Literally my first day (first 2 hours) in this facilty, The state survey team walked into the facility. The facility had been a focus facility and they made all the right comments and promises that they were on the right track and should be clear with this survey. Well, they received 12 D's and a "G" level, and guess who has to clear it all and put the whole POC together, thats right me. I am looking to get out of this entrapment.

I have a son and several inlaws in Florida, and would consider relocating again. actually my husband is still back in AZ. trying to tie up loose ends before we are able to be together. Would love to hear more about this position and where it is located.

Sincerely,
Suzi Bittner RN, DON

Day Recruiter in Columbus, Ohio said: I am looking for a dynamite Director of Nursing who can transition to a great building in Central Florida. This facility has had very little turnover. The staff is developed and stable, and the survey history has been good. If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please e-mail your resume and contact information to bernie@tobinsearch.com. Thank you!
Are you still looking for a DON?

Hi I am really interested in a DON position. Willing to relocate. The interim 30-60 day position would be perfect at this time in my career. Thank you

Hello There!
Are you still looking for a DON? I have been in the LTC field since I was 16 years old. I have 20 years of LTC experience with 5 years of the leading role as DON.
I am also a wound certified nurse with experience in MDS, infection control, Medicare, Rehab and can set the tone in any given situation.
I am interested in your add because I originally from Minnesota and have lived in Wisconsin for 2 years and would appreciate more sunny days.
Sincerely,
Angie
