Greetings !!! What I'm looking for is salaries the rest of you are getting, or what you might think what I'm doing is worth based on what you're doing. I have 10 yrs experience. I used to have a couple of minions, but with the economy the way it is, I now run a one-man shop (me). Here's the rundown of the document control aspect of my job: Creation of/revision to SAP item masters, bills of material, purchasing, source listing, & pricing information for 1 manufacturing plant and 3 sales organizations
I am also the facility Quality System Representative:
Much appreciate |

I went over to the Salary Comparison on this site and it tells me a Document Control Manager makes less than the Specialists he supervises. See what I mean? b |

Hello bfisherco, Here is a salary search I conducted which you may find helpful: Notice that I put the exact phrase I was searching for in double quotations and that the box labeled 'Search Job Titles Only' is checked. These tricks will help ensure that only salary data for jobs with your keywords as the title will be returned. You will also find a blue bar directly underneath the average salary number. When you move your mouse over the bar you can see the level of confidence in the salary estimate and how many data points Indeed has to reference in order to make the estimate. As you can see, this estimate has 'High Confidence' for the 'Document Control Specialist' title which means that Indeed has used data from over 250 job listings with that title to come up with this estimate. The 'Document Control Manager' estimate however only had less than 75 data points. I hope this has helped you interpret the data you were seeing! Best,
