CJ in Palatka, Florida said: I was verbally terminated from my job at the end of training and my DAC shows a different reason. Neither are correct. The company never intended on hiring me....not proveable - but my training was so horrible they assumed i would quit...i didn't. i filled a dispute with HireRight, who asked my company why they terminated me, and the company said what was on the DAC, and HireRight accepted as good. Now I need to write a rebuttal. ANY examples of DAC rebuttals out there? Thanks! check out WWW.DCClassAction |

okay, i was discharge by central Refrigerated for lane change "side swipe" and violation of company policy, both on my dac report. I have no clue of what company policy i violated and this was reported on my dac second day of the incident.. Only one year experience, any hope of getting a job or should i just give up on driving truck.. |

It seems to me that if you didn t call your company immediately following the accident, that may be one of the reasons that they terminated you. As long as the accident wasn t a DOT reportable( towed away from the scene, taking to a hospital, fatality, or police report or citation) you should be able to get another job providing you have no other accidents, tickets, etc |

? Companies state no more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventables, accidents, incidents within the last 3yrs and the 3yr's have pasted does this DAC report still affect the option of hire for large companies. |

You need to find out what the violation was first try to get it fixed. If you just had the side swipe you had a chance but a company policy is really bad it will look like they cant trust you. |

new driver- i was trained...lol...by swift. No accidents, or nothing my trainer ran on a dedicated lane, so i wasn't properly trained for OTR. I drove the winter down I70 in grand junction, vail pass...etc, and I80 in Cheyenne. still no accidents. In march of this year, i had some major family problems and needed to get home. iT TOOK THEM A WEEK TO GET ME HOME. i WAS UNDER A LOAD, GOT IT THERE AN HOUR LATE AND WAS TOLD TO BRING IT BACK TO the terminal; which is what i did. Sent msgs over the qualcom for 5 hours trying to find out what to do about the load, or if it was going to be delivered the next day...etc. ENDED UP, I HAD TO LEAVE. Came back the next day to find the load gone, so i cleaned out my truck and turned it in. Now i see that they have a no show on my DAC and it seems like i can't get a driving job. please somebody email me at cylen1975@yahoo.com if there is anything i can do to get it off my DAC or any advice. |

YOU WERE A "NO SHOW." ONCE YOU CLEANED OUT TRUCK AND LEFT WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FOR THEM TO THINK? YOU NEVER EVER LEAVE YOUR LOAD AND GO HOME WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. I'M SURPRISED THEY DIDN'T WRITE MORE NEGATIVE REMARKS ON DAC. SORRY FOR YOUR SITUATION, BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK OUT BETTER FOR YOUR LIVELIHOOD. THIS IS A VICIOUS WORLD WE LIVE IN AND YOU HAVE TO DOT YOU I'S AND CROSS YOUR T'S. TRY TO FIND LOCAL DRIVING JOBS THAT DON'T CHECK DAC. SMALLER TRUCKING COMPANIES THAT HAVE YOU HOME EVERYDAY. TRY CR ENGLAND OR SCHNEIDER THOSE ARE THE BIGGER OUTFITS THAT HIRE ANYBODY. GOOD LUCK. |
