it is bad for me here to have cdl lisnses because what i see here not working me to driving abig truck and lot of thing here is making people very bad like me l try very hard to get a good job but i can find it if in my country very easy to get job with c d l that thy i think to go back to africa to work there for one year after i will be back.there is alot of job in africa here is to me like washing a time off god bless america.

Hello. I don't know who you've been talking to, but if you want to drive for a company that is ruined by union, then you just mise well plan on bending over and have alot of ky jelly on hand. Go for a class A not B because the opportunities are endless with a class A and the pay is better. even if you wish to be home every night. There are Trucking companies that 'will' hire trainees for local only and of course you will have to be with a trainer for atleast 3-6 months depending on the co. you have chosen. I suggest you stop at a truck stop and pick up a handful of the trucking mags and start making some phone calls!! Drive for a company for atleast the 2yr.min. or until you get the exsperience you need to to become an owner operator where the money is. Most Importantly, gaurd you CDL with your life! keep a clean mvr at all times. good luck!!
