I have a Commercial drivers licence I recieved it in 10/24/08.I also have the endorsments the hasardous materials the double & triples and the tankers to but no one whants to hire me for several reasons.If there is any one out there that has a any advise I would apreciate it thank you.

YOU FORGOT TO MENTION WHAT THE SEVERAL REASONS WERE. AS A SMALL FLEET OWNER, I CAN ONLY GO BY PREVIOUS APPLICANTS. DO YOU HAVE DRIVING SCHOOL? DO YOU HAVE A CLEAN MVR?? EVER BEEN CONVICTED OF A FELONY OR DUI OR RECKLESS OP? BE MORE SPECIFIC. BY THE WAY, TRUCK DRIVING JOBS ARE AT A LOW LOW RIGHT NOW. WE ARE TURNING AWAY 15-20 APPLICANTS PER WEEK BECAUSE OF THE ECONOMY. ALSO, WHAT TYPES OF DRIVING ARE YOU LOOKING AT? WHEN POSTING ON A BOARD LIKE THIS, YOU NEED TO BE MORE SPECIFIC....

I have a CDL (A) with the T-Dbl/Trpl Trlr X-Tank/HazMat.I guess there not intersted in hirring me because I have 2 felonies in 1992 and in 1994 but I have been every since.I have a good driging record no DUIs.I have had more than 5 jobs in the past 3 years thats because every since I have gotten laid off I have been working for staffing agencies doing what ever I could to make a honest living.Well if there is any thing you could do or advice I would apretiate it thanks.

Hello,I really do not look at the forums that much but I thought I had responded when you said that I for got to mention the reasons why I felt that I was not being hired.Well I have 2 felonies that go back as far as 1992 for drug charges and in1994 for a gun charge.In both incidents I pleaded guilty and I was given a seperate 18 month pobation sentence for the years of the offences took place.I have a good driving record no DUIs.For the past few years I have been working with staffing agencies making an honest these are contract positions,temporary assignments.This is pretty much Im sorry I didnt respond sooner like I said I really do not look at the driver forum but now I will they are very help full I look forward to hearing from you soon thanks again.

Whats up Brandon,hay are you sure of doing this,this is the situation.This guy I e mailed responding to a job posting said he has a truck and is in need of 2 drivers.He is looking for another driver to drive with me or if I find some one we would be outi.I live in Chicago,ILL in Humbolty Park.I am serious as hell about this it is hard as hell for me to start driving with out contract crap like some truck companies.Do you have a phone number so we could talk?This has to be for sure.I believe that we would start asap.So let me know whats up.

Whats up Jamal,I seen alot of Job in Craiglist for dump truck owners I guess there are contract jobs.But I bet if you keep looking on Craiglist youll find some thing watch.I seen lots of them.

Hello I understand that you are a small fleet owner?I have a CDL(A)with the T-Dbl/Trpl Trlr X-Tank/HazMat endorsements.I do not have any accidents,DUIs I have a good driving record.I do have a little experience like 10 hours a week for the past 3 months now.I just recieved the license in 10/24/08 but have not had muck luck in finding any thing.If there is any thing you can do I would definately apretiate it thank you I look forward to hearing fron you soon.
