How do I get a CDL A job out of school

it used to be that u had to have experience for otr. times have reversed that and if your willing to pull a year in otr, u can choose your local job

well i need to find a jod at 20 years old and get some hours behind me and some miles so i can get a BETTER JOB

i really need to find a job that hires without experance so i can get some miles so i can find i better job.

Jeremy hang in there bud I am 51 yrs. old graduated truck driving school with honors in 2006. CDL A with tanker endorsement. I have a 2003 felony (Ithink it's domestic violence) after truck driving school no one (major carriers) would employ me. First job i got after td school was busting down and repairing truck and bus tires in a tire shop every now and then I'd jockey trucks for customers. I have almost no over the road experience. But I'm looking to roll with some employer soon. I'[m a good guy who just needsa a chance to go to work for somebody I learn fast and work hard sun-up to sun-down. I have no real family ties so I can just go out and stay make money for me and some employer. I just want to roll I'm passionate about it my old man was a truck driver I need to roll is there anyone out there who can help me or tell what i can do to get in a seat. Keith I'm in the same situation with afelony in 2002 have u had any luck

Looking for any Driving job in Dallas Texas. This is so hard. I to have a felony from 01 and 93. Im only 35 and made some mistakes.What is wrong with society and how come they wont ever give someone a break. I have busted my rump my whole life for very little pay and mostly under the table. My pop was a truck driver and its been my dream career to follow him . But I messed up when I was 18 and did 6 years on an 8 year sentence. When I got out of prison I tried going into some trucking school and it didnt pan out very well. Most companies said that the felony had to be 10 years or more. Then oops,I caught another felony in 01 and went right back to the beginning of where i left off. Never drug use or drug related charges or theft. Problem is my charges are violent but the truth is no one ever got injured or hurt not 1 scratch on anybodies head. Now im 3 months out of school and cant find 1 job in dallas without expe3rience and 10 years behind me with my record. can any 1 help. i too will take a cut in pay, work double shifts , for the experience any one can reach me at twelveone@live.com cuz jesus rox
