Your felonies are definently are going to hurt you!! But I dont think it is the companys fault as much as it is the ins. co. they have that are giving you the axe..The other thing is if you just got your cdl like you said, your green, and thats another reason the ins. co.'s are gonna give you the axe. Try your bigger co. like jb, or schneider, they have alot of rookie programs and are that big i'm sure they own they're own ins. co. you need to get some seat time under your belt and some ref. from some other co. to make those felonies go away.. You know what i"m saying?

Hello.

First off, you get the job that most felons get, equipment operator.
Start out as a laborer and work from there.
I have worked in dozens of federal sting operations with the cover of felon, in each case I was placed in a low level job and worked my way up very quickly.
In each case everyone thought that I was a recently released felon, with the papers to prove it.
Look at who runs the loader or excavator, not exactly the creme of society.
Take this for what it is worth from someone who works placement for DoJ.

I've worked as an equipment operator my entire career and apparently I need a felony conviction to hold this job according to your ignorant logic. Be careful lumping everyone in to categories. I've always heard if you can't make it in any other line of work you get to be a donut eating cop. See how ignorant that sounds?

You know:
Whether it's a felon in my bf case or a bad divorce being my case going from riches to rags...
My boyfriend now 51 has a felon from 11 yrs ago. He got his class B lic and has worked ever since. Today the eco being extremly slow we do what we can. There's always work out there. It's not coming to you/you HAVE to go after it! Is what were doing as we speak. I've decided that were going to go into the car hauling business. Sure will send out cards/flyers/advertise. Whil waiting for the ph to ring will go to auctions and offer our services there while also going to small car lots also offering services. Keep'en the price low enough so that we get the work. There's always SOME sort fo work out there until you can find better. Life is what you make of it. Shoulders back/head high/and NEVER let folks lable you because of something way back when. Whether it's car hauling or something else/go after it! Make it happen!

Best of luck
