I am a recent grad living in the New York area. I would like to know how do I search for doctor offices that deal with echo? I am also willing to become a mobile tech but when I search google I usually get staffing agencies as a result. Are there any direct website I may be able to go to that would help new grads within echo or any mobile tech site. Thank you for your time and any response that may help me. |

I graduated from Echovascular ultrasound school in 9/08 as a 4.0 honor student and have not been able to land a position. I have tried hospitals, clinics, and doctor offices. It seems everyone wants an Echo Tech with their national certification (ARDMS) and at least 1 year experience, however, you have to have 12 months working experience before you can sit for the exam. Help! Any suggestions??? |

Did you grad accredited school? If yes, you do not need 12 month working experience to apply for examine.
