I am studying for the Echo portion of the RDCS. I believe its much harder than the CPI,because so much of it depends on how much practical experience you have, which I don't have alot of. Since the physics doesnt relie much on practicality, you can study from a just a book and pass. Thats not the case with the echo exam. At least I think. Of those people, who have taken both tests, which do you think is harder? |

The echo is difficult due to the poor quality images that is on the test. Echo is subjective to the viewer, epecially concerning the ejection fractions. It seems as though the Echo tech is responsible for making a diagnosis, which I believe is unfair to the tech. |

I think the echo portion is harder. I studied the Feigenbaum book and DeWitt books along with the Pegasus practice tests and passed it the first time. Study hard and you should be OK. |

Do you think the Pegasus was good? |
