about couple of years ago for 2 years i worked as an electrican apprentice for non-union companies.stoped working in the electrical trade for a couple of years due to getting lay offs often and not learning much from the schools and companies just the simple basics and couldnt do side jobs due to not having a license and lack of knowledge of doing jobs on my own.i was just wondering what the differnece between union and non-union schools and companies
are because maybe i would have a better chance moving up in the electrical field working in the union
because i heard in the union the education and companies are better.i`m thinking about doing electrical work again (not sure)just thinkig about it cause i electrical work. just need to know the better way to advance in either the union or non- union.

Dear Jose,

I feel that you want to work and you have little or not as much experience in the field of electronics. All you have to do is find your higher power and He will make the difference in deciding if you should go union of non-union. Maybe if you go union you will have a better chance at staying with the company which chooses you.

watson thanks for responding and answering my question.if the union can guarantee me steady work in a company than i think union is probably the way to go .i think i just have to find more info about the union because i dont like having to switch companies and starting over with differnet employers that was my problem in the past hence i had a hard time learning and moving up. thanks watson

any others who have advice feel free to reply
