I'm thinking of coming to work in australia for a few months and if I like it to make it permanent. I have no idea where to start though? do I need to get a job or a visa first, or make sure I have somewher to live? I am an apprentice approved electrician with 5 years experience and have the BS7671 17th edition regulations certificate, will this help me get a job?

Any advice please will help!

i am a licenced electrician in ontario canada with mainly residential experience but with some knowledge of comercial.i have always had the thought to move my family to AUSTRALIA,but i dont know enough about it . I need something to make it worth it for myself and my family.PLEASE RESPOND.
