Can anyone help me out here, im from the UK and work as an electrician. I want to move out to Las vegas NV to work but need sponsorship, i think i`ll also need to work as an apprentice because of the slightly different regulations. Has anyone succesfully done this or know anything that might help me out ? |

I am married to an American and it'll be hard enough for me. However it is possible but it'll be tuf! I am also a sparks. The prolem is at the moment there isn't enough work there for USC let alone foreign people. Keep trying though |

Dear Mark, What I think is the tumble dryer can be hooked up to both the 110v and the 240v dc power line. If a 110v power supply is given to the tumble dryer that means for fair conditions, you can use a 110v minimum power and a maximum of 240v to the circuit. If you know how to use an ammeter to test the voltage, the resistance, and the current, depending on if the meter has those settings fixed into it, you can have a better understanding of what you are looking at. But mainly if the store which you bought it from says it is o.k. to hook the tumble dryer to a 240v power supply then it should be alright. If you don't know how to use the meter then maybe it is time for a professional to come and look at it even though I sure you want to save the money and do it yourself. There it is. |
