I am have just started my 4th year of my electrical apprenticeship in Australia and i am extremely interested in doing my last year overseas if this is possible. I am interested in anywhere mainly for the experience and the adventure. Does anyone know if there are any oppurtunities to do this?

I have been a licensed electrician for 20+ years, with a well rounded background in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial electrical installations.I have worked at Banks,Malls and Government
installations. AC and DC installs for UPS and Generator units.
Rectifier and DC plant installation.Inverter Installation. low voltage control.Large battery install for Telcom. DC power BDCBB
branch circuits to FAP units (panel boards). DC lacing of conductors
to Ladder supports and Building of infrastructure.I cannot find work in the New England area. I am willing to travel anywhere to get work.

I thought as much - I got a reply back within an hour of my application, they sent me an email stating that they would like to offer me a job and that I should contact the travel company. I looked on the web for some more details and tried all the numbers on the website and the email and none of them worked.

Thats right steve i sent them a e mail and told them i was going to put a add on the google page telling everybody of the con the have going on,the are gangsters ,the sent me back a e mail saying what the hell i was on about in a very unprofessional manner and that i had a very good job offer and that i abused it ,all too good to be true these guys are targeting the downturn in the construction aera,the wont fool me steve,Chat u soon..............

Hi all I have left comments in this forum before I am a Journeyman electrician certified in the state of california with 20+ years of experience looking for middle east work . I have been looking and applying for 2 months now. I have registered on every company website relating to work overseas and posted my resume with no luck if anyone has any info about work or how to gain a position overseas please e-mail me @ mabrnard@msn.com .
I was in the air force for 5 years spent most of my time overseas I used to have a security clearance . Work is very scarce here in california I am a member of IBEW local 11, A lot of brothers at the hall right now for the last 2months I average about 27 hours per week I need to go where my skills can be put to good use ready to relocate

Its bad at the moment, Canada would be good, I was talking to a lad that worked for me, and a few of his mates got sent home from NZ after visa ran out, They said the were only employing NZ Nationals from now on.

Think I'm gonna get involved with wind energy, I see a market for it here, specially with the wind we get. I won't be the first to do it but think its a way forward.
