The spa I just got a job at does alot of brazilian and sphinx waxing. The school I went to didn't offer me alot of pratice on this. So I need to get fast and efficent at this quickly.(there is not another esthetcian there to ask). I am not sure how to keep my client comfortable, which positons are the best and what in what order is best to do each section ect. We have both hard and soft wax. I have had little experience with the hard wax but I hear it is better for that area. Any advice/tips would be helpful:)

i have been doing them for five years and i was trained my THE WAX QUEEN. you can info on her at google, yes, hard wax is the only way to go for this area. the most important thing is you have to be the one that in comfortable first, be honest with your client, tell her at you are just learning this and you may even giver her a discount and she can help you to get more ladies to practice one. tell all you girlfriends, practice on as many as you can find. i have found it is best to start near the back side first, you can have you client on her knees for have her hold her legs up, with her lying on her back. work from the anas, going up to the stomach. do small patches, this feels better on the client. and don't feel weird to have you client use one of her hands to help you hold the skin tight, this will help in the pain dept. and to not have a bursing. really try to learn from THE WAX QUEEN, she is amazing. PRACTICE.
