Test on 3/24...Help!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Chelsea and I finished school in December 2007. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take the stateboard test right away, so my test date is this month, on the 24th. I have been studying a lot off of stateboardquiz.com but I'm more worried about the practical since it has been so long. If anyone has advice or tips I would really appreciate it. This is my dream career, and I just want to pass the 1st time. Thanks soo much, any advice will be appreciated! :)

Hi Chelsea. My advice is to stay calm and remember that safety and sanitation is the most important thing that they are looking for - also if you're calm, you will exude confidence. Remember to wash your hands anytime you drop something or before you put your hands on the clients. this is really important and also helps to take a minute to go and wash your hands if you're nervous to take a deep breath.

Thanks Lola! I know staying calm and washing hands is key!! I was wondering as far as the setup..i am planning on renting a kit but i was told by others to bring my own eyelashes and glue. Also, when your in the room, do they give you a format as to which service to do 1st, 2nd so on? i am nervous about the initial setup of wiping down the chair and table, like what to use. and the disinfection i believe is the last service, but im a little blurry as far as how that goes. i know its one of 3 facials (plain, scrub or dermal light) then we do eyebrow wax/tweeze, then makeup, then eyelash ( strip and individual) then disinfection. but i just forget the whole flow of things, if u could help me out i'd be soo grateful...or if anyone else can give me some tips..im soo nervous/excited!!
