Esthetician salary

Hi guys- i am looking to go to esthetics school May 6th and the school i am going to says that the average range for starting income is 50.00-100.00 an hour. i wanted to talk to you guys and see if that is about right or if the school is just trying to make it look better than it really is so more people will go there.

True, true, true. It does depend however on where you work and what services they offer and what they charge for said services. If you have your own practice you can make double per hour.

But bear in mind that "per hour" in most cases means "per client" and that clients might be few and far between in many locations.

Also understand that there is a huge difference between being an independent contractor and being an employee.
