I'm looking into different programs in Denver and was wondering what the best schools are. Is Aveda a good program? |

Look at International Academy of Elite Esthetics and Micropigmentation-Karen Milsapps-Best school by far, small, but she knows her stuff! I took all of my Chemical peel, micro, and advanced waxing there. Don't go to Artistic! If you are wanting to go into clinical or medical, I wouldn't go to Aveda. |

I am going to Xenon International in Aurora and I love it there. We started hands on the first week and the teacher Ang is great. She knows her stuff and it has been fun! Plus the school is nice and well organized. I've heard negative things about Aveda. If you don't want to specifically work with Aveda products, this is not the school for you. Two people that went there said they mainly focus on their products, and you don't get much out of the program. Also Artist Beauty school is not a good school for Estheticians! I tried Artist once and did not like it and quit. I would recommend Xenon. Call them to see about getting a facial. That's what I did before I decided to go there. |
