Choosing a school to become an Esthetician/Medical Aesthetician

I am currently looking into schools to become an Esthetician/Medical Esthetician. The top two that I am interested in is Marinello and Paul Mitchell, however I am leaning more towards Marinello. I have an appointment with with both soon. Does anyone have any advice as to which school has a better program for Esthetics/Medical Aesthetics?

Do not go to Marinello! When I was looking into schools two years ago. I checked Marinello out. You will be disapointed. I ended up going to Career Academy Of Beauty in Garden Grove. We had several students in our school that left Marinello and enrolled at Career Academy because they were so disappointed with the teaching there. I also checked out Paul Mitchell. They are a very good school also but a bit pricy. I recommend Career Academy of Beauty. They also have a Medical Esthetican program there as well. They also have a high volume of clients coming in to practice on so you get a lot of hands on. You will be able to get certified in Microdermabrasion. Also the clinical area is very nice. They have beautiful murals on the walls and nice sheets and towels. They use mainly Dermalogica and Murad. If you would like more information feel free to email me at scl@skincaretherapy.net. I recently graduated from Von Lee and received a great education. I really liked the teachers and learned a lot from them. I would recommend this school to anyone.

I am also looking into esthetician/medical esthetician schooling. I am moving to Bend Oregon and am wanting any information I can get. The only "beauty" school I can come up with is Phagan's? Does anyone know if this is an ok start?
