One of my clients wants to have a spa party for a girlfriends birthday and wants me to run the show. She is guessing about 5-6 women. I'm thinking mini facials for each--cleanse,masque,massage. I would alot for hours minimum for my time spent working. A majority of the stuff I will have and won't need to purchase.. I'm looking into investing in a portable table. How much do you think would be a reasonable price to charge for the night?

well 6 half facials would be about $240 plus extra for the outcall.

I'm very, very new to the business..so this lingo (outcall) is also new to me. lol. I've never done an outside job before. How much extra would you charge? I know this sounds retarded, but is that for gas, time, etc? And the $240 would be covering products used?

One of my girlfriends mothers said she would be willing to pay $60-$70 per head... but she isn't the one throwing this particular party.

Outcall just means that you go out to your clients location. $60 per head seems good if they are willing to pay it, if not try $50. Whatever you charge, make sure you and the client make a solid agreement so you don't get there and they expect more from you without wanting to give you more money. And yes, that would include your gas (unless you are driving over an hour) and your products, ect. You just give them one quote that includes all your expenses.

Btw, costco has good massage tables for under $200 from what everyone tells me.

I was actually looking on ebay earlier! There are lot of seemingly good quality tables for under $100..shipping and everything. Of course I need to research a bit more before purchasing, but from just glancing it seems like a good deal.

Thank you so so much for your help! I appreciate it!

suggest you look for a table where you can sit and put your legs under table. Mine bumps my knees.

You might want to checkout Walmart. The have some great folding tables front small, 4 fott, 5 and 6 foot for from 30-40 dollars.
