How did you get your start doing exercise physiologist work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

I received a Bachelors degree in the Health Sciences, then did a 4 month internship in non-invasive cardiology/cardiac rehabilitation at a large hospital. ACLS and ACSM certification are usually a requirement for employment. Many EP's have had to start out as cardiovascular technicians just to get our foot in the door.
