What are typical file clerk salaries? Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

i have been a filing clerk ever since may. i have found it to be easy, yet difficult a t times. everyone should know to keep a clean appearance. complete all of your work i a given time.

Salary depends on here you're working. A hospital or a big law firm are good places for those jobs. Expect to start out at minium wage (or close to it). Average salary with a year of experience is maybe $8.00 to $10.00 an hour probably in Florida.

However, because of the ecoomy, legal secretaries (with great experience) are being hired at $10.00 to $12.00. So right now for a file clerk, expect minimum wage.
