I am a new finance manager and feel that my commission structure is not where it needs to be with averages. I am hoping someone can help me learn what others are earning. What percentages of Reserve, Gap, Warranty and how there bonus structure is. is it based on total gross or percentages of gap and warranty sold.

please help, i want to succeed but am new.

you should be earning a minimum off 15 to 18 percent across the board

Here's the pay plan I'm on. My percentage of pay is determined by pru. It starts with 1200/copy, which pays 9%. The percentage increases .5% for every hundred. My bonuses are paid on product sales. Ranging from 500 to 1500 for warranty attachment. And 600 to 1250 for aftermarket products. There's also a CSI and CIT component % as well as a dept avg bump. I will normally range from a 12% to 16% payout of the gross I generate.
