I am a 30 year-old single female. I will be graduating flight attendant school on November 28th, and I am looking for a December/January crash pad in Chicago. I will be commuting to O'Hare (ORD) from Kansas City. I am also a professional singer. I like 50's culture (music, fashion). I am not conservative, but I am quiet, clean, responsible, and I am not home very much. I am not looking for a dorm room party. I just need a place to sleep when I am scheduled to work out of Chicago. I would like to find a crash pad for less than $200 a month. Please contact me if you can help. Thanks! |

Don't be nervous. I work for Mesa, and while I'm sure United's a somewhat different training experience, after chatting with a few new-hire mainliners, here's what you can basically expect to happen during training: much like we did, you're gonna have the time of your life, and complain about it the entire time to whoever will listen. You won't believe how strict it is, and you don't know if you will make it. You'll go on your IOE and be completely intimidated by your instructors, who will be nicer to you than you ever imagined, making it the most memorable career experience of your life. Enjoy it! If you need more time on your IOE, take it, don't be insulted or intimidated like some of my classmates were. I wish I'd had more time to practice. Take lots of pictures, and call home a lot. P.S. I'm 32 with an 8-month old back home. You can do it. Sherri |

Just keep studying and steer clear of the drama. It may help you to know that most of what other people do that bothers you will sort itself out judiciously without your getting involved. Just be patient, stay excited about being there, and try to ignore all the negatives. It's easier once you get through this part. |

It automatically detects the i.p. address location of your server, for example, I'm based in Chicago, reside in South Georgia, but am currently overnighting in South Bend, Indiana. I guess the server's in Fort Wayne. lol |
