Question Jet blue is flying out of jacksonville do the need flight attendants and do they train there flight attendants. I hope someone can help me out it would be realy great! |

Anita go to this site
Research the site
Example I filled out Application at RyanAir and failed to check it and miss the last open house. Now I have to wait it out. In the mean time keep checking and keep asking questions. There are alot of Flight Attendants that check in here and can answer your questions. None that I am aware of have a base in Fl. I could be wrong. I to am from Fl, but the airlines I have been applying at - the closest I can get towards FL without commuting is Atlanta and Memphis. There is an airline in Fl, Miami Air you can check them out,
All airlines train their own flight attendants and everyone is different. GOOGLE flight attendants and start reading. Stay on the forums you get advice and leads here. Good luck hope this helps a little bit. |

Pilot in Sanford, Florida said: Anita, Hi Pilot...where did you get your information? I had a F2F interview at Allegiant on Wednesday and they aren't recruiting for any "specific" base. I asked the question...."once training is complete, how are the base assignments determined?" and was told that the FA's are based wherever they prefer. They have not denied a base assignment. Also, Allegiant is flying in and out of LAS, so my guess (and this is just a guess) is they will be assigning LAS more frequently. Also, they do not have a training date scheduled. |
|
heartkin10 in Wisconsin 3 months ago |
Thanks Pixifixx now I don't feel so stupid. Because the site lists all the bases next to the Flight Attendant choice and the events are not specific to any group of people. Theres three events listed. At the top of the page and they are listed as Career Fairs |

Pixiefizz, I do have my information from the SFB Flight Attendant base coordinator.I do work myself for Allegiant part time and again the information I am giving is ONLY for the SFB (Orlando Sanford) base. For the other bases it may be different but for SFB base they won't recruit till November and they still have F/A that have completed training but are in the pool and not flying yet. Also for SFB the recruitment is done here in SFB.Of course you can apply anytime but I am telling you that till end November there wn't be recruitment and I seriously doubt they will assign anyone SFB right now as there are people still waiting to start flying.I could also give you the number f the lady who is dealing with F/A recruitment here in SFB and you can get the info from here.

For all those who work for Jetblue, do you know if they still plan to hire flight attendants in October? And those of you were chosen for training in April but then put on hold until October, have they notified you if you will start in October? Thank you! |

Pilot in Sanford, Florida said: Pixiefizz, Thanks Pilot for the information...I hope I didn't come across as being confrontational. The last thing I want to do is make enemies with the very people whose team I want to be a part of! Hope to see you out there! |
|
Pilot in Sanford, Florida 3 months ago |
Pixiefizz, It's ok.Even if you have come accross as confrontational it is normal and I completely do understand it as I have seen so many people pretending of being such and such and giving false information which later from discussion board turns into "personal attack board".Do not worry, your reaction was completely appropriate and I won't take it personally. If you happen to get based in SFB please let me know and we can meet up.Congratulations for being sected and happy flying!!!! |
|

Sorry the last sentence was meant to read "Congratulations for being slected" instead of "sected"...I am just tired from my today flight.... |

Everyone who has completed training with Allegiant is working, no one has completed training and been put in a "pool" to wait to begin work. There are some who have been accepted to training and are in the "pool" awaiting a training date, like Peter from the Allegiant forum but everone who completed training is working. They are recruiting for all bases but right now, LAS is growing the fastest and the next class has been said to be for LAS ... but they may throw in someone like Peter who has been waiting about six months even though he wants SFB (we can only hope so for Peter's sake LOL!!). BLI is growing strong and has only been open for 5 months, they are adding cities all the time, so they'll need new hires too. Florida's seasonal travel really impacts on what Allegiant can offer. FAs are being offered time off without pay for these 2-3 slow months, so they really don't need to hire right now but like it was stated, at least by November maybe even October. The time off is welcomed and everyone is happy. |

I applied for Provisioning Crew (JFK) and I recieved an email telling me to call a 1800 # and its an automated phone interview. Does anyone know of what type of qustions are asked>??? |

Nat in Brentwood, New York 3 months ago |
I took it today. I was stalling because I didn't know what to expect. I really want this position. There were about 3 major questions, its not exactly what they asked but it's along those lines... GOOD LUCK! Describe your most valuable customer service? Describe an event where you needed a manager but solved the issue on your own? Why do you want to work for Jet Blue? |
|
Anita Jacksonville florida 3 months ago |
Have you served in the costumer service industry bevore then you should had some situations were you solved your own problems. They just wanted to know how you dealed with problem situations before. This way they can make a picture for them self ob you would be a good fit. Just tell them you preveiouse experiences. A lot of jobs do that. I hope that helped |

Thanks!!...I did the phone interview yesterday and within an hour I recieved a call back saying JB wanted more information and to call that 1877 number back and put my pin in again and if any problems call the support line. Well when i tried to call back it was saying my pin in invalid. So i called the support line and its an answering machine so I left a message, I also sent them an email. I have no heard back from them yet. Im a little worried because I want to give them the information they need and they said to do that asap and now I cant... |

Hello, I am not sure,But the true or false questions ask if you have been convicted, or if you worked for jet blue before, if you have a high school diploma or Ged. |
