DeltaFA in New York, New York said: Hi Rodica, Delta FA in NYC,
8. I live in surrounding area in Atlanta...can I still stay in their housing while I am in training???
I am sorry to have all these questions but I have been getting nervous as the interview gets closer and also as I keep reading all it has been posted on here and it somewhat makes me worried since they are so many different stories on here. I am also trying to make sure that I be able to give a notice to my current employer. THANKS in advance for answering my questions and any tips you might have for me will be greatly appreciated. Hope to hear back from you soon.

SK in Hilliard, Ohio said: This sounds similar to my experience yesterday. I started with the online form, answered some questions and was told to call. I called and was given a short interview where they asked me a few questions. At the time of that call she advised me to go to the website to complete an assessment and to upload my resume. After the assessment it asked me to call to speak with a recruiter. When I did she asked many 'interview type' questions, and at the end of the call she told me congratulations, they would like me to come to ATL for a FTF. This was yesterday. But please be advised that the recruiter told me not to panic - they were backed up getting many interviews scheduled and that it could be potentially 'several weeks' (her words) before I would receive the e-mail. That's all I know! =) Hi everyone! Just went through the same process.
I was not certain of the timeline that I would be hearing back... so I called back again today just to confirm how they would be contacting me and the timeline. The recruiter mentioned it may take up to a couple of weeks and it most likely would be via a phone call... (she was VERY nice ... like all the others I have talked with so far ...) Just wanted to let everyone know ... and please keep me posted also on how you guys are doing! Am VERY excited and eager ...

I know right now that Delta are ONLY hiring language speakers, I heard from someone at Delta that in the future if/when Delta commence re-hiring they will only accept language speakers. I am British living here in New York, I was on here a few days ago because I started my first few days of training in Atlanta but had to go home due to death on my wifes side of the family, now I have to re-apply. If its true does that mean unless I am a language speaker I have no chnace with Delta when I am able to re-apply on June 11th? I am hurting so much, my class mates passed out of training 2 weeks ago, and I wish so much I had been one of them :( Anyone who can help, please email me:
Thank you and have a wonderful night Mark |

The process went really fast from phone interviews, online tests, f2f in Atlanta , job offer, language test, a call to enroll you into a class...all in 6 days.

I had three companies that I used to work for that no longer in exist. When they weren't able to verify the employer I just had to fax over either a W2 or a paystub to show proof of employment with those companies. I have heard though, of some people who lied or didn't disclose certain things about their background and it wasn't discovered until midway through training and they were let go. The employment verification, at least for me, happened within two days of the call offering me a spot in training. However, I think the ENTIRE background check takes a little bit longer. |

Hello all, I have a question, I had gotten all the way to where I was gonna schedule a date for my F2F , but i had an accident and fractured my wrist, I never got back but I'm still fully interested in going to an interview. I was wondering does anyone know if I call are they still interviewing? Will they still give me an oppurtunity? I hope so! |

Was the employer they were trying to reach a RECENT employer? just wondering b/c there were a few places i worked a LONG time ago that have probably since changed their numbers, gone out of business, etc. |

I passed the first two phone interviews on May 1. I haven't received the phone call for the next step. I was told to be patient, but with everything going on, I am not sure I will get a phone call anytime soon. Anyone know exactly what is going on with Delta? |
