Love the fact that this airline has great fuel efficient equipment, and is so new~great chance to get your seniority up quickly! Business won't be a problem, even if it is for larger carriers.

Yep, thats right, plus this airline has been said to be more spacious than the regular plane. You should be getting your packet shortly so you can get ready for training. Good to know that someone from here will be in my training!

Just hang in there I applied like several months ago and I am going for my interview June 3rd.

Are you able to pick when you can interview? Do you also speak to a real person when you are contacted for an interview or is contact done all through email? I graduate high school on June 12th and I'm hoping I can interview after the 12th. Would you guys suggest I apply online right now?

Unfortunately, I still have not heard from Compass since I applied on-line. I wish they'd hurry. In the meantime, I woke up this morning and went to my online news and lo and behold! one of those in our midst has made national news. Eder from Chicago who is/was an FA from Chicago is apparently being held without bail after starting a fire on a Compass flight. He gave a lot of helpful advice on here.

On a lighter note - (just to start my day with some optimism) - there is now an opening with Compass.

The news is at least slightly faulty in that they say he "smuggled" a lighter aboard, and yet, lighters are no longer banned.

Just a side note for all current CPS employees, be careful what you disclose about the company, route structure, pay scales and training on the internet. In actuality, it may be best not to disclose anything at all. The most current situation regarding one of us is still company business and we're not allowed to quote or make commentary on it, so if asked, refer questions to HQ. Hello all, patience is the name of the game. So far Compass HR has been awesome and very prompt I am very impressed. I applied back in the first of April got called and scheduled for my interview last week. I go in a couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone! Hope to fly with everyone soon. soooooo exciting!!

I am going to a 1 on 1 yes HR is so great they are very prompt of getting back to you once you do contact them and they are so nice and sweet. hen I got a call from them today I was all smiles :) My interview is in early June so I am very excited and can't wait to check my email and see my ticket information whoo hooo. Yes you are right they are new and it will be a great opportunity to grow wih the company and I am sure that there is alot of potential growth within the company so yes I am very excited. Thank you again :)

According to the Compass website, they have flight attendant positions in Memphis, Detroit, and Minneapolis. However, according to Monster Jobs, Compass is hiring flight attendants for Cincinnati. Is there anyone who knows the scoop? Do they have a base in Cincinnati? Thanks.

I just looked at the Monster.com job listing and at the bottom it states "This position can be based in Minneapolis, Memphis or Detroit. Applicants must be flexible with regard to assigned domicile."

Looks like they will place people where they are most needed after graduation.

Well I don't know anything about there being a Cincinatti base the only bases I know of are Minneapolis, Memphis and Detroit so yeah. I am going for my interview soon and am very excited about it. Compass seems to be really prompt when they do things and I am definately looking forward to this :)
