Holy cow NOOOOOO!!! Taking training classes like that is actually NOT recommended by airlines. Because regardless of who you end up working for, you will have to go through that company's training program and sometimes if you already have had a lot of training....they have to "un"train you from previously learned materials so that you can adapt to their program. The only thing I might recommend is a book I read that has a LOT of great info...."The Essential Guide to becoming a Flight Attendant". I bought it online. It's a really good resource, very thorough. After reading that...just start researching different airlines and find the one that fits what you're looking for the best and apply online! Just dive right in, but DON'T pay for completely useless classes! I am starting my training class with Delta in two weeks and this is the way I did it =) Good LUCK!!!! =) |

The first step to becoming a flight attendant is applying. :) Any airline that you get hired with will train you. While training is sometimes unpaid for some airlines, you'll learn about the specific costs once you interview with each airline. Good luck! |

Yeah Bobby-Lynne, I'd say your best bet is to just go ahead and apply; Depending on what airlines operate through Pennsylvania, I'm sure someones' hiring!
Good Luck!! |
