I spoke directly with the FAA FSDO that is handling Baltia yesterday. They had not yet seen the press releases, but were VERY interested to hear what Barry Clair had said, they were going to look up the articles. They also stated that Baltia has NOT as of this date formally submitted the manuals for review, nor have they even officialy began the Manual certification process. Whoever is stating that in this post is giving wrong information. Baltia is getting very close and is further than they have ever been. They have obtained the Aircraft from the desert and are begining the process of putting it back together. They have a very talented group of people finishing the manuals for support and from what little information I can get from my source, they are getting close to being ready for submitting. My info does not come so easy lately which leads me to believe they are keeping the wraps on the submission and are wanting to make a big announcement when it happens. Baltia is indeed a good investment, I do not want to give that impression, but I also do not believe the company has to be misrepresented to make that point. |

I mailed my resume and 2 letters of recommendation to Baltia Airlines a couple of months ago. It would be nice to have some idea of their time line for hiring and training... any input?

Good luck with that. They don't even have an aircraft in the air. They have mooved the location of the stock holders mtg to JFK which is a good sign I think. It would be udderly fantastic if they actually get in the air and start making money. been in aviation awhile in Willard, Ohio said: I mailed my resume and 2 letters of recommendation to Baltia Airlines a couple of months ago. Sorry but no revelations. Things are progressing, but now is the time that this company is needing to spend money. My source has let slip that the manuals are truly close to completion, the biggest roadblock currently is aircraft specific info that cannot be gotten until records are presented, or information from Boeing is received. These things are costly. Anyone in this business knows that your cannot hardly even call Boeing for less than 10 thousand. The purchase of the aircraft, the ordering of manuals and records, the cost of the new interior, and a multitude of other costs are now coming about. This is a good news/bad news spot. Many of us longtime investors can see a light...but just cannot get there yet. The time for increasing investments or begining is now, the cash influx is needed to get over the current hump and get returns in a short time frame. If increased revenue is slow to trickle in then the process will take longer. This project has spent a lot of time to get here...I do not believe that the originators had any idea of the costs that it would take, but it is a shame to get here almost to the crest of the mountain only see that it will take a long time to get over into the "greener grass". Those looking for employment...hang in there. The current target date to begin the hiring process is early Oct. (providing the info is gathered and the manual submission can proceed) Those thinking about investing, call the company and speak to Barry Clare, they like the small inverstors (couple of thousand at a time) I will not tell you a lie and promise you anything other than that if this airline does get over the hill and closer to flight, the stocks wll go up. The market is all but cornered for this particular route, and yes, the airline will make money....but it first has to spend some to get there. |

This must be a very exciting time for this company. At 3 cents a share, you really can't go wrong. I agree that the stock price will go up once we get a plane in the air (I'm using "we" because I have purchased stock and, in essence, I am a part "owner"). I believe this airline can truly succeed once all the ducks (or in this case roosters) are lined up. The more money coming in from investors, the sooner this bird will take flight and we can all see a return on our investment. |

There are so many blogs out there that keep saying that "this is such a great deal" I think it is obvious that those people are probably the "Barry's" of the company that are selling the stock. I would be much more inclined to purchase or re-invest, if the company would come out and tell us the status. What are the true projected costs to get the work done? what amount of funds are currently available? My source said that each time a big investor is brought into the scene, the president finds some way not to accept it. I was told he would not take a 6 million dollar line of credit because of having to give up some control. I continue to believe that this idea is great and likewise a great investment...it just reminds me of our government, telling us they know what they are doing but not answering questions. |

do we even have a chance??? cause I read they're only looking to employ high scale resturant employee's soooooo that was a little discouraging ... |
|
revin2go in New York, New York 32 months ago |
Don't believe that for a minute. Upscale restaurant employees who make excellent tips aren't about to go seeking a $25/hr job and be subject to reserve, junket and military charters to God knows where, not to mention self-defense training and random drug testing. Baltia (or any airline for that matter) won't have much luck recruiting them, I assure you. |

Manuals have a new level of standard referred to as ATOS. The good news is the VP of Flight Ops, Chief Pilot, Chief Flight Engineer, Head of Inflight and Director of Maintenance are all on staff and are deligently working to ensure manual compliance. All have been involved with the new standard at previous carriers and are very familiar and experienced with the certification process. |

Guys, lets remember that Baltia has done it all, as far as the D.O.T , FAA, Manuals , the Aircraft ..etc… I have been a shareholder way before Baltia had ever accomplished these milestones. It does not take a “believer” or a “dreamer” to recognize that Baltia is a real-deal company. The clock is ticking to the inaugural flight and I have my free tickets for being an early investor. I cannot believe that people can still buy in under 4 cents a share at this late stage of the process. |

Any new news on Baltia? I hate going long periods without hearing anything. I am a small investor of only 22,000 shares right now, but am in it for the long hall.......bust or glory. I'm waiting to see a more definative response as to when they will fly and everything before investing more. |
|
keimorr in New York, New York 32 months ago |
That sounds like a wise choice. I have been keeping in touch with them via email. I was told that they will be hiring sometime around December. They will need to train the crew and do test flights prior to doing scheduled runs. Realistically, we are looking at end of Winter, early Spring. |
|
revin2go in New York, New York 31 months ago |
Does anyone know where the plane is at this very moment? I'm hoping it's in the overhaul shop. How long does it take to outfit a plane anyway? I would imagine at least a month. Any word on uniforms? schedules? I think I read somewhere that the training (at least the emergency aspect) will be at the Pan Am Training Academy in Miami. I can't wait to watch the operation unfold. What an exciting time for this company! |

Good luck, Baltia. And to think they paid for the plane in full and have no debt. That's impressive in these tough times. I think they'll be quite successful. Buy your stock NOW before it goes up! I did. |

Mr. Moo in Vista, California 30 months ago |
wisdom in Albany, New York said: When will this stock hit 50 Cent? Who knows? Maybe it will never hit 50 cents. Airlines run a thin margin and these guys want lux service. I know the model shows that they can make money by selling cargo space (and that they have) with 40% of the seats sold. So they do have an interesting model. I hope they can make a go. A LOT of stock has been sold but you just can't make a ton Euros/Dollars/Yen with only one airplane. If they start making money the best thing would be to by more planes and open the other routes they have rights to. It is going to be a long time before we (and yes I am one too) investors get our money back. |

Yes, Baltia has expansion plans. They will begin with 1 round trip to St. Petersburg per week. Over several months work up to 5 flights per week, AFTER they have worked all the kinks out. As they state in their recent 10-Q Filed with the SEC, "Following the commencement of service on the JFK-St. Petersburg route, Baltia's objective is to develop its initial route network to Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Belarus." To date, Baltia Air Lines has no debt, and we intend to expand our fleet using revenues generated once we start flight operations." Starting to get exciting. The share price broke through major resistance today. Let's hope it keeps up. |

Baltia Rooster The rooster is our symbol of reliability. Dating back to Roman times, a rooster was universally recognized as a symbol of punctuality and dependability. For these same qualities, Baltia’s founder chose the rooster to represent our new airline. Throughout American history, the rooster has been an icon, particularly in New York. On the bright, sunny day of May 24th, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was officially opened in New York, and the first person to cross the bridge carried a live rooster as a sign of victory and accomplishment. She was Emily Roebling, the wife of famed civil engineer Washington Roebling who supervised construction of the Brooklyn Bridge. Emily was so instrumental in her husband’s work she was given the honor of traversing the bridge first from Brooklyn to Manhattan. As she rode across in horse-drawn carriage with the rooster in her arms, all the men who had been working on the bridge raised their hats in triumph and cheered the historic moment. But there’s more to our rooster story. In European folklore, a golden rooster is also a good luck charm. Just look skyward. Ever vigilant and watching over all, the rooster sits atop many spires and buildings in New York City as well as on church towers throughout Europe. You can also see the revered image on countless weather vanes of homes all over the countryside. One of the largest and most grand rooster effigies in the world is the golden rooster perched atop the spire of St. Peter’s Church in Riga, Latvia. The church was once the tallest building in Europe before the Eiffel Tower was erected. Over 360 feet up in the air, the golden rooster is the size of a horse. . |

I believe that Baltia Air Lines is definitely going to be a success, after all it took God 6 days to create the world, and he rested on the 7th day, like Baltia, those that are toiling in making this become a "FULL" reality, they have to work at it, and take that 1 day to rest, and when the reality is manifested, they will know that it was worth it. |

The Aircraft Is In Good Condition. a post on IHub from eyeforthedeal, who is the Director of Operations for a different Carrier: B-747-200's WITH engines, run anywhere from $4.0 mil to $7.0 mil, depending on a lot of things. Without engines, the fuselage is worth from $100K to $500K, depending maintenance status (landing gear times/cycles, avionics, etc etc). I do not know the specifics of this aircraft, other than what I learned when I called the seller to find out what condition it is in. He stated that it is in fairly good shape - estimating needing less than $1.0 million to get through an FAA conformity inspection. Given this news, I would say that they made a good buy. He said that they are leasing the engines from him and that he has a lot of spares (including engines, avionics, ldg gears, etc.) available to them. Apparently, the interior is not in too bad of condition - just needing cosmetics - except if Baltia is going to reconfigure the business or first class sections - in which case I've been told that there are good interiors available from surplus aircraft that have been parked in the desert. |

I have applied for job with Baltia. That's what the recruiters sent me 2 days ago Dear Flight Steward Candidates, It is a pleasure to connect with you again! Yes, this is a generic letter being sent to all candidates that I have suggested to Baltia for an interview and hire. However, YOU are more than welcome to communicate with me personally, for I feel a great connection to each and every one of you! There is a SLIGHT delay with Baltia's scheduled launch date. Instead of April 1, it has been pushed back to the first of May. Please do not take any alarm in this, for this is VERY normal for any initial start up airline. I am in DAILY communication with the "Powers That Be" at Baltia and they are very excited to get the ball rolling in the hiring process, as well as, the training process. For the experienced Flight Attendants, I will be calling you within the next week to discuss proving runs and the initial certification process with you. Keep in mind, that I can recommend you for hire, but the ultimate decision is up to Baltia, for they are the employer. The Director of Cabin Safety, AKA---Chief Flight Attendant is absolutely fabulous! She trusts me very much, as I do her. In turn, I give all of you a glowing recommendation. Again, the decision is up to Baltia for the hiring decision. |
