Yay!! in Sycamore, Illinois said: Yes, I'm going to the training this February. I'm assuming you got invited to the Informational Session, correct? If you get asked back for an interview the next day, they will tell you then if you have a job offer or not. My Informational Session/Interview was December 8/9. I was asked to go to January training at my interview, but due to surgical reasons, we decided Feb training was a better decision. So like I said, found out that day. Did drug testing, finger printing, the whole 9 yards day of the interview. Best of luck! Let me know if you have any more questions :)

Mine lasted about 30 minutes. They ask you typical interview questions. Why you want to be a flight attendant, your history with customer service, etc. Nothing to complicated or out of the ordinary!

Has anyone re-applied before six months? I would love to re-apply but they want you to wait six months! I don't want to sound like a pest to the HR department....but I would love to re-apply.

I was invited to a interview on March 6th I'm so excited I just had an interview with Dynamic Air line Tuesday of last week. i don't have my lenience I'm taking my road test next week i told Dynamic airways that and they seemed to understand, i hope that doesn't stop me from getting the job. Do you think compass will hire me I don't pass my road test. I'm sure i will pass but but just in case.
i also wanted to know how long they keep you out there i want to book my ticket and hotel, how long is the interviewing process?

Remember- To: Be yourself.. Lay Low, the people who ask questions and draw attention for any reason, are usually the ones that go home. Even if you pass the tests you can still be sent home. Study with all you have and get plenty of sleep! Follow every compliance every day. And...listen to every trainer there. There was a tragic accident the last week of class and two of my loved one's had died. I just couldn't keep it together. They offered to let me fly home and come back the next month, but I declined thinking it would make me seem stronger....it didn't...and I broke on the last day of class and I was sent home.. They want people who can withstand tragic situations.... I still visit this site and know I would have been a great FA. My class voted me their #1. Hopfully my words will help you to stay focused. Do not study every night until 2 am. Just listen...study...preform... and help your classmates. Strong you say. I have been a spokesperson in many communites educating people on how to handle stress, death and tragic situations. Remember It does not matter where you have been.....it matters what you do with it. Stay on your A game...and good luck to you all. They seem like a great Company and the training you will receive is one of the best out there.

THEY SAID THAT THEY SOMETIMES RENT CARS AND HAVE YOU DRIVE TO SITES AND THEY DONT WANT THAT TO BE AN ISSUE IF THAT COMES UP I THINK IT WAS 1750 MONTH AND $18 AN HOUR THEY ARE HIRING NOW YES IN NY

Does anyone one what my options are in regards to hotels? How far is the headquarters from the airport?

Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, American Boulevard and 34th Ave. The van drivers are nice there and will drop you off at Building C (hdq). Less expensive would be at the LaQuinta at 494 and Nicollet Ave, call for the airline rate, don't know about dropping you off at Building C. It's just 2 blocks north of 494 on 34th Ave, they shouldn't have a problem with it though,it's right on the way to the airport.

I currently work for Compass as a flight attendent. Program is 4 weeks training with 14 tests. You are aloud to fail one test or your dismissed. Starting wages is $15.89 an hour with only 75 hours guranteed per month. Plus you must be on call for 3 weeks a month with no pay but you have to be with an hour of the airport. You will be gone for sometimes 4 days straight and unable to sight see because your tired. If you like being away from home by yourself and make around $18000.00 a year this job is for you
