u shut hear something then in next week or so....bc they shuda told u about 6 weeks or so...patience pays off i didn't hear netting either until after 6 weeks and a friend i met there ended up calling me to remind me to look at my email bc we got it at same time lol..plus a lot that didn't pass the interview got their notice about week to 2 weeks after the OH....might be different in other areas but this was the BNA interview...u can call but they asked at the OH for you to not to

I got hired in December by CHQ and was supposed to
train on January 4. I sat that class out and now I'm hoping to catch the next thing smoking in March if possible. I hope everything works out for you! Just be positive, polished and professional. You can't miss.

Depends on the certificate and base. Jr bases at CHQ are ORD/MKE. MKE will probably be closing so who knows really. There is about to be a lot of change in the whole company. If you are looking for someplace that's cheep to live with good benifits, grand rapids is good cause you get delta travel. IND/CMH/CLE/SDF/LGA/GRR/ORD/MKE is how I would rank them senior to jr.

They dont give you a CJO it can take up to 6 weeks or longer depending on who you pick. Shuttle has no classes so thats the longest. I picked chautaugua at the MKE open house the 26th and still have not heard anything.

ATL is by far the most senior S5 base due to it being downsized back in 2010. There are people in ATL with 2009 or earlier hire dates still on reserve.

I went to the OH today in Columbus and they said there is a class starting for Republic and Chautauqua on Feb. 27th and they also said today that the bases in Milwakee and Grand Rapids have been closed. They said they just found out in the last couple of days about the closings. Just thought I would share.

CHQ classes are 2/22 & 3/15
RPA classes are 2/27 & 3/20

It's expected with the base closure announcments that a lot of FA's may be leaving that live or have families in the MKE and GRR areas. They are having classes for CHQ/RPA as those are the entities that had crew bases in those cities. The next SHU class is rumor to not be till May as the crews that are being displaced need to be in their new bases before a new class is scheduled as many FA's that are current wish to change entities. By delaying a new hire training class it forces the current FAs to displace where the company wants/needs them not to where they wish to be. A good example is a RPA FA who is MKE base may wish to transfer to SHU ORD as it is similar equiptment/aircraft and closest base to MKE that the company has but since there is not a class they would have to go to RPA CMH or DEN or resign.
