If you get hired, which one would you pick? I was kinda thinking Chautauqua, because of the Houston base. But I hear that Republic is the easier class, test every other day instead of every day... |

Well read that, it pretty much goes into detail what to expect. I would like Houston because its close and I have friends down there as well. It would be a quick trip back to OKC as well... |

Eder in Chicago, Illinois hey guys does anyone know how their group interview works, for republic airways??? Eder, The interview was held in a group setting for the first half. During this time the representatives told you about the company. After that was over, they sent us into the break room and from there they called us in for a one on one interview. During the one on one interview they ask which airline you would like to fly for. They asked some pretty simple questions. Be yourself, (your fun self) and things will go just fine. As far as finding out if your hired, you are notified via email in about a week inviting you to training. In all it was fun. I was hired and will be flying for Shuttle America. I am just waiting on my training date. Good luck with everything...hope to see you in the skies! Lisa |

Lucia, I will be training for Shuttle America. I have not received a training date as of yet...I am hoping for January sometime. I think the training packet would be close to Republics, so if you wouldn't mind forwarding me the email? I would love to take a peek at it. Thanks,

Angel in Anderson, Indiana 53 months ago |
JRR, it is 38 degrees today. Indiana has very unusual temperature. One day it might be 20 and the next it is up in the high 50's. It just depends. I will keep you posted the closer we get and let you know that weather. |

Scotty205 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 53 months ago |
I'm not to worried about the codes, but now the announcements might be kinda hard. I think you have to remember alot of paragraphs. I think the code test is multiple choice and not to difficult... |
|
Scotty205 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 53 months ago |
But hey Desiree, dont worry, if we get hired, we will do fine... |

Lucia, You are more then welcome. Glad I could help. I received my training packet for Shuttle America just now. Let me tell you one thing...compared to the other airline that hired me, this is nothing! I had learned over 150 airport codes for the other company. This looks like a breeze in comparison. Just an hint...I used index cards and learned maybe 10 at a time. I would review them each and every time I added more to the pile. Worked for me! Hope that helps. |
