Holy cow NOOOOOO!!! Taking training classes like that is actually NOT recommended by airlines. Because regardless of who you end up working for, you will have to go through that company's training program and sometimes if you already have had a lot of training....they have to "un"train you from previously learned materials so that you can adapt to their program. The only thing I might recommend is a book I read that has a LOT of great info...."The Essential Guide to becoming a Flight Attendant". I bought it online. It's a really good resource, very thorough. After reading that...just start researching different airlines and find the one that fits what you're looking for the best and apply online! Just dive right in, but DON'T pay for completely useless classes! I am starting my training class with Delta in two weeks and this is the way I did it =) Good LUCK!!!! =) |

The first step to becoming a flight attendant is applying. :) Any airline that you get hired with will train you. While training is sometimes unpaid for some airlines, you'll learn about the specific costs once you interview with each airline. Good luck! |

Yeah Bobby-Lynne, I'd say your best bet is to just go ahead and apply; Depending on what airlines operate through Pennsylvania, I'm sure someones' hiring!
Good Luck!! |

Republic airline, Piedmont, PSA these are all regional airlines.. Mainline really doesn't hire much, because they furlough alot of their flight attendants, so they don't hire they just bring them back.. Yes just submit your resume.. |

Are you guys serious? The question has been answered 10 times already. You have to go to each airlines' website and apply. Do Not pay for some rinky dink training school. All of the reputable airlines I know train you for FREE. Just put on the application all of the experience you have already. and feel free to READ what is in each forum. They will tell you the same, but specific to each airline.

Hello, Delta is hiring flight attendants, and their website is explaining the training process (2 months) and the payment for two months is $1745/month. You, as a trainee will receive this money while in training. I hope this helps. |

Nina1 said: Hey so im18 and want to get on at American airlines but this whole resume thing is confuseint me iv never had a job so what do I do? You have to go to the airline's web site but unfortunately American Airlines is not hiring they have over 1800 FA's furloughed and they have to bring all of them back before they can hire again. How ever if want to get in at AMR (who owns AA and AE) I would say apply to American Eagle. They've been hiring a lot. |
