I have been a designer for 8 years and up until here recently I have never had any back problems. I can barely bend over and straighten myself back up anymore...and i do have a 3 year old which i am sure does not help. Anyhow I went to the chiropractor and he told me that I had a jammed Vertabrae as well as it being twisted..now they keep doing therapy on me and ofcourse it seems to be worse..and i was told it was because of my job...anyone else have this problem and has it gone away...maybe there is something else wrong? Anyhow in desperate need of some advice or suggestions...Homecoming will be happening soon (September) and if you are familiar with homecoming Mums then you know how painful it could get!

i had back pain and problems breathing.
i saw a chiropractor he said it was being hunched over the design
table. people that wash dishes and that sort of thing have the same problems. i saw him a few times and felt much better after that it is just seeing him once and awhile.

Clearly working as a designer is part of the problem. There are some very effective mats that you should be standing on while working. This has been effective for many that I have talked to. You might also consider asking this question on my floral forum as there are a number of professional florist reading there.
