Hi everyone!! So nice to meet you all!!! I am currently on disablity due to rheumatism and various other ailments; but that has not stopped me from growing flowers and gardening every year (plus canning a lot of food to put away for winter). I have always wanted to have a career in doing something with plants as that is all I have ever known. I am thinking flower arranging might be a good field for me to get into but there is already a florist in my home-town and it seems every town has a florist, so I am wondering if I could send arrangemenets via the mail service or am I just going to be wasting my time. One thing I want to do that is different from other florists is that I want to use the secret Victorian language of flowers. I do calligraphy and would send the meaning of the arrangements along with the bouquet. Any tips for me and or advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, do you think I need to take a florist course as I have never really made bouquets for anyone other than our house-hold.
