Hello,

I was wondering if the aforementionned course was good. Thanks in an advance for any comments. This layout for this course looked very good to the untrained eye.

Regards,
Donald

Donald,

David G Dwinell is the best hands down, you will not find
a more advanced course out there. I took his course years ago
and am now running both a trucking company and a brokerage.
I highly recommend David G Dwinell to anyone out there looking
to start in the transportation industry. There is no other
course out there that even comes close to Davids Guaranteed. I would
recommend the 5 days hands on. It is unbelievable he goes above
and beyond your expectations of what you "think" you will be learning
he really surprises every student. Take my advice you will not regret it
i will even put my own money on it. Donald if you plan on taking Davids
Course, feel free to use me as a referral "George with Best Choice" or
call this number [edit: # removed] and ask for bill, let him know what you
want to do(he works for David).
I have also referred 26 other people and every single one
of them till this very day are SUCCESSFUL with either a Trucking company
with 50+ trucks or a brokerage with 8+ agents.

I disagree strongly. I would place our broker training up against any both for price and performance. The "Master" certification program he offers is very funny indeed. There are "NO" distinctions or qualifications for becoming a freight broker. He merely assigns a title to it to charge someone an additional $2000-$3000 dollars. If you want "Real" hands down training check out our website and pricing www.freighttraining.com

To Mr. Freightraining.com: are you so unsure of your own program and products that you have to spend so much time on your website trying to discredit other programs? If your program really IS the best, all you should have enough time to talk about is yourself, and would have no concern for anyone else. And a question for you? How long have you been teaching these freight brokering classes? I can tell you tell you that Mr. Dwinell has been teaching them for over 20 years and has been in the trucking industry itself as a Motor Carrier and a Broker for nearly 50 years! Not to mention the fact that he has been brokering freight daily since the start up of his school. So he is an up to date and viable force in the trucking industry.

For anyone out there that would like to do their own unbiased research you can compare both companies, and see which one will better fit your needs. www.freighttraining.com is owned and operated by Mr. David Dwinell -- then there is www.freighttraining.com -- and let us know how it goes.

I move freight everyday and I have been doing this for quite awhile now.You guys sound like promo ads.Why should anybody have to pay to learn how to move freight? If any one of you had a heart you would teach them for nothing.I learned on my own with no help and I make a good living. I can bet that I can teach someone how to become an agent if their really willing to learn and it won't cost them a dime other then what they need to start.(fax machine, computer, long distance)
BEAT THAT!

Those schools are thiefs. We have met with all of them and they are all swill merchants. They don't even teach the basics.

We have hired people that don't even know the trailer appreviations.

well thats kind of a general question. it all depends on where you want to go.every area is different,if your going east sometimes your looking at as much as 3 bucks a mile,as a carrier would need that because there is no loads that pay anything going out.you have to be more specific.or call a carrier and ask themwhat it would take to move a load from piont a to point b. of course be careful because thereis a price difference if you actually have a load or not.does this help at all.

Hello,

I am a carrier and find it hard to price out loads, for example from Calgary to Toronto. The rates seem to 50% now of what they sould be, that would be running East for example

I can only say that there must be too many trucks in cananda right now wich will typically bring the rates down as the customers don't have to look for carriers. supply and demand dictate what the rates are going to be,to much supply not enought demand.hope this answers your question.

Sounds like Donald and Terry are agents and not brokers. As a broker, I know I wouldn't just train everyone for free. Oh.. and an agent doesn't have the liability on their hands, but the broker does. Makes a lot of sense? Sound like Terry and Donald are trying to get sub-agents. Sub-Agents never work in my opinion.

to be honest I'm not trying to get anyone. I'm just giving my experience away as an agent.I just don't think that people should have to pay for training to learn a business that when it's all said and done they are still ill equipped to become brokers or agents except that know they are in the hole a few thousand dollars. Im not asking for anything. I don't want people working for me. I'm just trying to give something back. I'm guessing for some that might sound hard to believe.

I think they got on the rates because this is a place that goes with the flow and a question is a question if it pertains to freight brokering its a good one and can be asked and answered anywhere at least that is how I find answers and that is how I learn because so many are not giving answers just wanting my money so yes the credit worhiness of a school is are you going to hand me info for free and there it was rate info for free good job thanks for the freebie
