Hi all. I am somewhat new as a broker agent. I started looking for more customers a couple of months ago. Wow, what a nightmare! Customers that I did find fairly easily deal with a ton of other brokers so to book a load with them is hard. I did run across a couple of okay customers that don't seem to be dealing with 50 other guys. I found a lead source that is proving to be well worth the money I spent to get it. Yes, I bought a disk with a list of companies on it. I am finding more and more customers on a daily basis. How did you guys go about finding customers? When you take one of these classes, do they set you up with a way to find customers easily, or do they just leave you on your own? |

If you don't mind passing the info what is the name of the disk your using? |

The disk is called Brokers Buddy It cost me $500.00 Been calling off of it for a little over a month now and I have found quite a few GOOD customers. I am making more now than I did before I bought the disk. Here's more info for you.

1500 leads for 500. That's 3 dollars a lead. A lot of money for the opportunity. If it had 16,000 leads, then it would be worth it. Paid too much for nothing. Also, why would you give your source away for 10 million other brokers to buy and start calling? |

If you are buying leads, pay no more than $.05 cents per lead. I saw the site. Looks like someone trying to get rich quick. I didn't buy it. Don't recommend it. |

To: JAWED... No, I am not the one selling the disks. I met the guy, (via phone) through a friend of mine that knows him. To: Mr Broker... You are a little off with your calculations. If it were $3 a lead the disk would cost $4500. It's actually $0.33 per lead. If you are only paying $0.05 per lead, you are probably buying a phonebook. I really don't care one way or another. Buy the disk or don't buy the disk. I was just trying to point some of you in a good direction that helped me out when I needed it. |

Sorry, my miscalculation. I would still be careful about spending money for leads. |
