Hello, I'm posting this comment hoping that I can get in contact with someone willing to help train me in brokering freight. I recently took a freight brokering course and am looking to start my own business. I'm willing to start out as an agent for someone to learn the business and to gain experience and clientle.

hey,my name is cornelius i'm new on the scene but have the same questions as all newbies. Dont know much about the brokering biz but am very excited and motivated for the challenge to succeed. I have experienced both positive and negative responses on this site but overall people seem to have been fairly helpful to newcomers to this market. My question. Is there a business out there that ojt people who are eager to learn the business of becoming an agent at a lower commission rate? Than a person wasting ungodly amount of money on inadequate hurried training at schools.

Lamont,

I read you posting, and I sent email to Jason. Did you get a response?

I am a downsized professional, twice. I am looking for a place that values real work, over politics. I also need work and want to work from home is possible, but willing to go where work is that pays.

Thanks for your post.

How is this business for mature otherwise experience people? How is it for re-careering? How is it for females to workin in?

What type of starter income and future stable income can be expected? Of course it depends on effectiveness and amt. of time spent but what should be expected?

Do you know what a common % of earnings would be?
Perks that could be included or 'forgotten'?

This business is a great opportunity for anyone. It gives you the opportunity to work from home, spend more time with family and friends.
I believe females have an advantage in this business, due to the nature of the industry. We have several women with Gold Leaf that are doing very well for themselves. It all depends on what you put into it, if you work hard and stay motivated you will see greater incomes then not putting anything to it. You have to reach out and grab the opportunities. This industry can be very rewarding, as such we have several male and female agents that are making over 100k. Salaries will vary depending on shipper or customer base.
Perks include, working from the comfort of your home, you work when you want to work, no set hours. Away from corporate America, you are your own boss. Good income, no matter how bad the economy gets, there will always be a need for the trucking industry. If you are interested in speaking with someone please give us a call at 972-325-1584 and someone would be glad to further answer any questions you have have.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Gold Leaf

Would you be interested in working from home? Owning your own travel business? Gaining income through commission booked through your site AND through referring others?

I have a great company/program I would like to introduce you to.

Let me know if you are interested.

I am looking to be an agent broker. I have been looking into and contacting people about the position and everyone tells me the same, we need experienced people.
My husband owns his own truck and I have not had a job outside the home in a long time, will that hurt my chances at a job with Gold Leaf?

I am wondering how an up-start freight broker generates sales leads. I broker out of Detroit and am currently expanding. Would anyone wish to share ideas?

First Steve......associate yourself with a well known, DAB5
carrier. But, if you have your own authority and bank roll your company....don't faulter. Keep carriers current and keep customers on a timely basis for your receivables!

I don't want to make a sales pitch here but......if you feel you need help with these 2 important cash flow items. Email me back. I work for Matson America. A brokerage organization that recruites professional agents for representation. We currently have 142 offices across the country doing van falatbed, reefer specialized......

If interested please email transamerica2@aol.com

Thank you
