I'm currently an agent that deals in autos. I have a wonderful opportunity to expand my horizons to ALL types of freight. I'm just not sure the best way to go about it. I'm experienced in the trucking industry as a driver, dispatcher, owner operator, and such.

Here's my dilemma...
I know what to do with the cars. That’s an easy one. But now what? How do I get the other types of freight? Do I cold call? And if so....Who? The small business down the block, or the huge cold storage at the industrial park. I don't have the funds to just blow on a disk for leads. I've been down that alley before with the cars and it didn't work too well. I also don't care to go to seminars, nor take classes. I know how to do the job. I know how to post loads. I understand what CPM is, what permits are, how to figure rates, and all of the stuff I'd learn from those.(I’m not saying I know it all, but I'm not investing thousand to hear what I already know)

I don't want to let this opportunity slip by. So anyone with some advice, I'd be ever so grateful!!!
