You can get one through the D.O.T. Authority. www.dotauthority.com. They make sure you get the required UCR you need if you leave your state.

Why go through a service you can get your own DOT by simply filling out the online application at the FMCSA website and the UCR can be had for only the $37 filling fee here. www.ucr.in.gov/
